据智通财经APP获悉，北京时间6月17日，香港金融管理局发言人回应美联储(FED)的议息后声明称，美联储决定维持利率不变，并开始讨论减少买债，美联储何时加息或减少买债仍属未知之数，何时加息或减少买债主要考虑因素包括美国经济复苏及通胀的步伐。由于相关的讨论可能会影响市场情绪，呼吁公众应继续保持谨慎，管理好市场波动可能带来的风险。
香港方面，货币市场继续保持有序运作，银行体系流动性充裕，港元汇率及拆息稳定。发言人指出，金管局会继续监察市场情况，按照联系汇率制度维持货币及金融稳定。
